Nowhere else in the world is the individuality of Riesling so strongly distinctive per region as in the Mosel – the longest Riesling canyon in the world. For the Schmitges vineyard in Erden on the Mosel we developed a design that expresses exactly this multi-layered combination of slate soil and extreme sloping angles.

Maverick and Quality fanatic Andreas Schmitges loves challenges like e.g. the Erderner Treppchen (stairs of Erden) – one of the best steep sites in the Mosel. His wines deserve to be honoured correspondingly. Also in matters of décor design.
