Who invented it: Noah of Areni. Idea and design are based on the legend of Noah bringing not just animals but also grapevines to Armenia and there, at the foot of Mount Ararat, invented viticulture. Quantum X developed, commissioned by the Swiss SCHULER St. Jacob’s Wine Cellars, the brand concept, design and packaging for a premium wine from Armenia as well as high-end incentives for market rollout. Especially exciting for this project: At the beginning nobody knew if a high-price wine from Armenia had any potential in Switzerland. Yet, from a standing start, NOA proved itself a bestseller so that even in the first year after market rollout NOA Reserve was a further step.
